We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our finance team. You will handle tax compliance for U.S. and LATAM, prepare returns, and support financial reporting. Proficiency in Spanish and strong organizational skills are required.

Key responsibilities:

• Work closely with finance, accounting, legal, and other departments to ensure tax issues are accurately reflected in financial statements and compliance reportingCollaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with tax regulations in multiple jurisdictionsPerform data migrations and ensure data integrity within Salesforce.
• Prepare and file tax returns for LATAM countries and the U.S. (Federal, State, and Local)Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing.
• Managing tax reporting processes and working on tax planning initiatives
• Prepare supporting documentation for income, sales, VAT/GST, and other indirect taxes
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and deadlines for both LATAM and U.S. jurisdictions
• Support the tax provision process (ASC 740, IFRS, or local GAAP as applicable)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Related Field. Foreign Equivalent degree accepted
• 2 years’ experience in Accounting
• Must be proficient in Spanish
• Telecommuting Permitted
